Update: The Headbangers Ball was so-so. It was very well presented by Dave Mustaine of Megadeath, but the editing was poor, with long stretches of slides on the screen, and the same tribute comments repeated over and over. Watching the songs, one realized how much chemistry Phil Anselmo and Dimebag Darrell shared in Pantera. The Pantera songs stood out and definitely made one wistful. Nice ancedotes were shared by Dave, including one where he told us of a tattoo that Dimebag had done in tribute to one of Megadeath's song. Scott Ian of Anthrax called in and paid his respects.
