Further blurring the thin line between new and old media, Google News has added the fine collection of eclectic writing, blogcritics.org as a source - the importance of this cannot be underestimated.

In effect, an individual's posts are treated at par with those from the highly paid media mavens. This reduces the premium on traditional media communication to a level as to make it almost irrelevant. Their main value is the mindshare they occupy, and the fine writers who write for many of them.
